MAPS: Machine Learning and Physical Sciences

There will be a call for applications to the program annually in Spring quarter with decisions announced by the end of July
Funded traineeship positions are available for qualified PhD students. Funded positions are typically awarded to students who are relatively early in their PhD studies (e.g., starting their 2nd or 3rd year)
Honorary traineeship positions are available to both MS and PhD students
Admission to the program will be based on a combination of factors including a student's academic record, relevance of a student's research to the program, and availability of positions
Students are strongly encouraged to read the program requirements below to determine if the program is a good match to their research plans
